The BH Community London (BHCLDN), a volunteer organisation, supports community members to improve their quality of life by promoting inspiration, well-being, and community cohesion.
BHCLDN organises a broad range of activities for all ages and backgrounds. These include Bosnia and Hercegovina supplementary school classes in the mother language for 7 to 15 years old, and curriculum classes for youths such as music, poetry, future careers, and professions, and participation in sports and excursions. Our activities improve confidence, skills, health and wellbeing, quality of life, and community cohesion, and reduce social isolation for residents.
We also cooperate with other Bosnia and Herzegovina organisations in the UK and participate in joint language and cultural programs necessary for connecting people who came during the war in the 90s. Since our first establishment 31 years ago, we have provided highly effective and much-needed projects that have led to positive transformative changes for individuals and the community as a whole.
